Dear Barclaycard Member,
At Barclaycard, the security and privacy of your account is of utmost importance to us. And to ensure that you have complete security while purchasing any product or services with your Barclaycard via telephone (IVR), a security feature is being added to your Barclaycard.
Starting 1st January, 2011, telephone (IVR) transactions need to be authenticated with an additional password. This is mandatory as per the RBI guideline. So, to avoid any delays and inconvenience, just make sure you have your One Time Password (OTP) generated before you transact through the telephone.
Getting an OTP
- Receive automatic OTP on call -If you are performing a transaction and have not requested for an OTP already, an OTP will be triggered to your registered mobile number while the transaction is in process.
- Alternatively you can also log on to
https://secure5.arcot.com/vpas/enroll/index.jsp?locale=en_US&id=0&bankid=4700 for generating a OTP.
Registering your mobile number
If your mobile number is not registered with us, we request you to please call us at the below mentioned number and register you mobile number at the earliest for your convenience.
Using OTP
Please key in the OTP (when prompted for) along with other card details required such as card number, expiry date and CVV number, while completing the transaction on IVR.
Validity of OTP
The OTP is a single use password valid for 12 hours only from the time of placing request.
